Refund Policy for RentGrandBend.com:
At RentGrandBend.com, we strive to provide the best experience possible for both guests and owners. Our refund policy aims to protect both parties and ensure a fair and transparent transaction.
Guest Refund Policy:
- For cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the check-in date, guests will receive a full refund minus any applicable payment processing fees.
- For cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to the check-in date, guests will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
- For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the check-in date, no refund will be given.
Owner Refund Policy:
- For cancellations made by the owner 30 days or more prior to the check-in date, the guest will receive a full refund of the total booking amount.
- For cancellations made by the owner between 14 and 29 days prior to the check-in date, the guest will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
- For cancellations made by the owner less than 14 days prior to the check-in date, the guest will receive a full refund of the total booking amount and the owner will be responsible for finding alternative accommodation for the guest.
Comparison to VRBO and Airbnb: Our refund policy is similar to those of VRBO and Airbnb in terms of the percentage of the refund based on the cancellation date. However, our policy provides more protection for guests in the event of a cancellation made by the owner less than 14 days prior to the check-in date, as the owner is responsible for finding alternative accommodation for the guest. We believe this policy strikes a fair balance between the needs of both guests and owners.
